An aficionado of foreign cultures and many walks of life, Mathew specializes in communications and marketing. A recent hire at Rose City Mortgage, he works closely with Renee Spears as her executive assistant and helps with the promotion of Rose City Mortgage's Loan Officers and community involvement.

Nerd in his spare time, Mathew enjoys tinkering with electronics, and can easily devote hours to videogames on his PlayStation 3, and growing anime collection, when given the chance. Outside, Mathew can be found designing and maintaining his garden, or condo. A fan of meditation, creating an outdoor Zen space and area that also entertains friends and family is a motivator for getting his yard space completed.

Master planners of long-weekend camping trips and vacations with friends, Mathew and his partner, Jake, take advantage of the Oregon outdoors. Making a point of playing as hard as they work, places like Mt. Hood, the Gorge, and the northern Oregon coast are all favorite places to camp and visit.

In the office, Mathew works on advancing his marketing knowledge, and spends time learning the ropes of business management from Renee. Determined to start his own business some day, Mathew is using his time at Rose City Mortgage to learn more about social responsibility, the importance to local community, employee appreciation, and managing a company that is well known and respected for its commitment to people.
