Kevin Martin is an unconventional thinker. Without that quality, he may have never taken an entire year to backpack around Asia, a trip that helped him discover other cultures and a passion for travel. "That experience broadened my perspective and helped me realize what's important. Some of the happiest people I've ever met had nothing in terms of material possessions."
Kevin appreciates the unconventional thinking at Rose City Mortgage, too. "It's so much different than your typical mortgage company because there's no air of formality. Everyone can be themselves here. We're casual but we're still extremely competent."
During his previous jobs as a program coordinator, web designer and account executive, Kevin learned the lessons that guide him with his current clients. "Relationships are the key. If you're accountable and you care about what you do, it leads to success."
Kevin and his wife love to spend their leisure time outdoors-on land or on the water. They even own their own canoe! Exploring Portland's neighborhoods with their long-haired dachshund is another favorite pastime.
