When someone loves her work it shows. Take one look at Jill Wheeler and you'll see. And since she's started at Rose City Mortgage, she's practically glowing. "I love it here," Jill says. "It's a very comforting atmosphere. I'm a high energy person and it helps me relax."

Jill has worked in the mortgage industry since 2003. Prior to that she served four years in the military, including one year in Korea. There she learned how to push herself beyond her limits and honed her customer service skills. In the army Jill also discovered she's fast. She outran all the women and a few men in her unit. These days, instead of running military drills, she's chasing her young son around.

With all the activities they do, it's a good thing she's in such good shape. If they aren't out at the roller rink, you can find them swimming at one of the local pools, exploring OMSI or checking out the Children's Museum. Jill relishes the time she spends with her son and credits him for helping her see the big picture. "It's the simple things in life that really matter the most. Having my son is such a blessing and I cherish every moment we spend together." Jill's faith is very important to her, when she isn't working or chasing her son around she is involved with her church and helping those that are less fortunate.

And one day if you can't find Jill at Rose City, pick up a phone book because she's probably started her own business. "I would love to run my own mortgage company one day," she says. "One a lot like this one, where everyone is laid back, happy, honest and hard working."
