New LBT WoMyN Business Networking Group to Form
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (October 10, 2006)
The first meeting of WoMyN Made Network will be Oct. 25, 4-5:30 p.m. at the Q Center, 69 S.E. Taylor St. The new group's mission is to connect, educate and empower lesbian, bisexual and transgender women and their supporters to ensure success of women's businesses in our community.
"The WoMyN Made Network developed from a desire to build a unique networking opportunity for women in business," says Anne Viola, a founder of the group. "Since women in business have inspired me, it is my intention to create an enjoyable and beneficial group that is built by its members to help each of us flourish and be successful," she says.
Some of the bi-weekly meetings will feature prominent businesswomen speaking on the topic of business success, especially for the LBT community. At each meeting, attendees will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and discuss important topics relevant to their businesses.
