
Our History
President and CEO Renee Spears founded the company in 1999. The company now employs 13 people and donates $100 from every loan to a non-profit organization of the client's choice. Since 2000, RCMS has contributed over $170,000 to a variety of great causes. Rose City's headquarters is at 10737 SW Inverness Court, Portland, OR 97219. The company's unique approach to lending has lend to financial success as well as benefits to the greater community and environment.

Rose City Mortgage specializes in first-time home buyers. Approximately 90 percent of the firm's business comes from referrals.
RCMS reaches out to women, young people, environmentalists, pet owners, AIDS patients, gays and lesbians and others who may not have been treated fairly in the lending process and whose cause we embrace.
The team environment fostered at Rose City brings harmony and excellent customer service.
JJ Lee Kwai, loan specialist, and Renee Spears co-founded the Greener Good women's marketing group. JJ, Renee and loan specialist James Komro have all served as board member of the Portland Area Business Association. JJ Lee Kwai brings a broad background to the table with her M.B.A. in sustainable business practices.
Jake Planton, loan specialist, founded Next Level, an open, accepting and fun networking group. Bridges, a networking group for socially responsible, environmentally sustainable and financially prosperous businesses was started by loan specialist Lorie Clements.
